Happy birthday Miffy! 65 years old....
Miffy is recognizable to millions of people with her long ears, round face, white fur and cross-shaped mouth in all her simplicity. And that from generation to generation. The most famous rabbit in the world is now 65 years old.
From the beginning, the Utrecht artist Dick Bruna worked with simple drawings and primary colors. Bruna also designed educational books on reading and math, colors and geometric shapes. The books are recognizable by their square format. Until 2011 he worked daily in his studio in the city center of Utrecht.
